A new device dedicated to road safety is active in the Municipality of San Donato Milanese.
The municipality of San Donato Milanese is affected by some road safety interventions. One year after the launch of the Milano Metropolitana Safety Project – the multi-year plan of actions developed together with Safety21 and Municipia – Metropolitan City of Milan continues with interventions dedicated to the safety of the territory and the control of the road network.
In particular, starting from 12 a.m. on Monday 15 November, a system of control of the passages with the red light will be active in the municipality of San Donato Milanese, precisely on the S.P. ex S.S. 415 Paullese intersection with the turn Via Fiume Lambro and Via Gela, in the direction of Paullo and in the direction of Milan (at the intersection that flanks the entrance of Rosso Pomodoro di San Donato Milanese).
These instruments used for control and road safety are equipped with intelligent technology with low environmental impact. In fact, they are able to identify every step with the red light, acquire images from the cameras present and verify (and document), through video, the violations in real time, respecting the privacy of citizens.
The Milano Metropolitana Safety Project has on its agenda the planning of these installations with a view to securing the road network of the Metropolitan City territory. The smart devices are present in a capillary way, and interact with the Titan® ecosystem, the platform supplied to the Local Police that receives and manages information in the cloud, but also data and images useful for the detection of any infringements and for the scientific processing of traffic analysis.
All the initiatives of the Metropolitan City Safety Project are supported by a communication campaign aimed at raising awareness among road users towards a more responsible and correct behavior towards the territory and the environment.
