Road safety across the Metropolitan City of Milan takes another major step forward.
Starting August 31, new IoT speed detection devices will go live along three major connecting routes:
S.P. ex S.S. 415 Paullese
– towards Milano, from km 5+950 (Mediglia) to km 4+828 (Peschiera Borromeo)
S.P. 14 Rivoltana
– towards Milano, from km 5+827 (Rodano) to km 4+726 (Pioltello)
– towards Brescia, from km 4+700 (Pioltello) to km 5+800 (Rodano)
S.P. 103 Cassanese
– towards Milano, from km 11+030 (Cassina de’ Pecchi) to km 9+645 (Vignate), and from km 13+565 (Gorgonzola) to km 12+445 (Melzo)
– towards Brescia, from km 8+265 to km 9+500 (both in Vignate), and from km 11+025 (Vignate) to km 12+445 (Melzo)
With the new activations, the Progetto Sicurezza Milano Metropolitana expands the monitoring already active on the territory, continuing in its commitment to promote increasingly responsible driving behaviors, to reduce accidents and contribute to the European goal of halving road victims and serious injuries by 2030.
The new devices, approved according to the criteria established by the MIT decree of June 11, 2026, are also managed through Titan®, Safety21’s Cloud solution that has obtained ACN certification, guaranteeing efficiency in control activities and secure data management, in full compliance with privacy.
As usual, a geolocated communication campaign is already active to guarantee correct information to citizens on the activation of the new devices.
